Furniture, beach & carpentry

Now that the work is finished, it's time to head for home.

Koa loves to go along for the ride even if it's not to the beach. Here she is at Ileana's.

Grandma Lynne is bringing lunch to the job. Grampa Bob requested his favorite: tuna salad sandwich!

He's cutting in two holes in the wall and installing windows for light and ventilation. It makes a huge difference in the garage/storage building.

Grampa is unloading some tools; he's doing some work on Ileana Carreno's garage in exchange for his dental work.

Koa loves to go to the beach. Here she is on the way to Larsen's.

Grampa, the happy gardener, just doing some weeding chores. Everything grows so well and so fast here, even the weeds.

Grampa built a jatoba (Brazilian Cherry) dresser for Jr. Gacusan in our Hanalei Branch. They are loading it on his truck so they can take it to his house and carry it in. Jr. was so happy with it. Their old dresser was smaller and the drawers didn't work well. Besides, this one is beautiful.

The entertainment center is all installed and everyone was very pleased. I don't know how I got this picture without any smiles.

Here's grampa installing the cabinet for Brandon Salvador. Brandon and Nelson are helping out

Fall 2006

Dad has been working on an entertainment center for a friend. It's looking great. He'll install it tomorrow.

Dad really is enjoying the fattigman, even though he looks pretty serious in this photo.

We usually do fattigman on Christmas Eve, but since we were behind schedule, we did them on New Year's Eve.

Christmas Eve we were invited to some friends for dinner. We had them take our picture so we could send out some late Christmas photo greetings :-)

Between Thanksgiving and Christmas one of our beach breaks was here at Larsen's Beach. (You can see the cruise ship going by.)

After Thanksgiving Mom was very busy with hula rehearsals and performance at the Annual Hula Ho'ike (Graduation Celebration).

We had a wonderful time with the family members that visited at Thanksgiving time. We put almost everything on hold so we could visit and do things with them.

Dad going on the daily Post Office run. The dogs love to go for the ride.

Aloha Dear Family,
I've decided to try to do a blog. We love to check out yours to see what you are doing. We'll try to share what we are up to and do better with photos. We'll see if it works.
Aloha,
Mom & Dad
