Silhouette at Ke'e Beach
There were no clouds at all and the sea was amazingly calm, but the sunset was still great.
We're people watching and eating our picnic dinner before the sun goes down.

Jim & Ann Bills prepared most of our great picnic; grilled chicken, veggies with dip, fruit, cream puffs and chocolate torte from Polynesia Cafe & juice. We brought smoked fish (from our friend Keoki) and Cowboy Cookies. It was all delicious and we enjoyed it at the restaurant with the best view in town :-)

Grandpa has been busy with building cabinets and creating hardwood cutting boards. Grandma has been busy with Family History and Relief Society. I'm the 2nd counselor and responsible for Enrichment meetings and activities. We recently learned how to make a quilo. Each sister brought their own fabric and everyone completed their quilo in one evening. I made mine with aloha print on one side and fleece on the other. They all turned out unique and beautiful.

Grandpa has been making more cutting boards. Do you all have one? Each one is different.

Mom, I love the pictures! Dinner on the beach in Kauai-maybe I can just imagine myself there in paradise! Dad-The cutting boards are so pretty! I LOVE mine and am very excited each time I use it! I took it to a potluck dinner and everyone raved!
Nighnigh, You should put some photos of your house on the blog! Do you remember Kathy Leahy...she was one of my brides maids? Well recently she and I found each other again and we've been talking about how much we both love Kauai! Anyway, I sent her your blog address! I hope she checks it out! I told her that they should give you a call (she is married with two little boys) next time they are over there! Tell Yeye that he needs to make us another cutting board for June. The last ones we had were from 15 years or so ago, and they don't exist any more. I believe that the boys left them "soaking" one time too many! ;o) Love you!
